The SAP Ariba Functional Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation of SAP Ariba solutions, focusing on procurement transformation. The ideal candidate should have over 12 years of experience in P2P and S2C processes, with a strong background in SAP Ariba modules and integration with SAP S/4HANA. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with SAP Ariba Certification. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing testing cycles, and providing post-go-live support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation, from requirement gathering through design, configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture procurement, sourcing, and supplier management requirements
  • Design and configure one or more SAP Ariba modules
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA or ECC (MM, FI, CO) using SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) or middleware tools
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flow diagrams, test scripts, and training documentation
  • Lead and coordinate testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and manage issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — procurement, finance, IT, and suppliers — to align Ariba solutions with business goals
  • Manage data migration, supplier enablement, and catalog setup
  • Provide post-go-live support, user training, and stabilization assistance
  • Stay current with SAP Ariba innovations and best practices, advising business on optimization opportunities
  • Support project governance, ensuring timely deliverables aligned with SAP Activate methodology or Agile frameworks

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Contract (S2C), or Supplier Management domains
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP Ariba implementations, preferably in a lead role
  • Hands-on experience with at least two or more Ariba modules (e.g., Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, or SLP)
  • Strong understanding of integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP/S/4HANA using CIG or PI/PO
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes using SAP Ariba functionalities
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and project lifecycle management
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional and global teams
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 15+ years of SAP /IT Experience
