The Salesforce Project Manager – Service Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational execution, governance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce platform services. This role will act as the primary point of contact for service management, ensuring that Salesforce operations align with enterprise standards, compliance requirements and stakeholder needs.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure smooth operations and governance of Salesforce services, adhering to enterprise policies and compliance requirements
establish and enforce governance structures for Salesforce platform operations
Act as the main liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
ensure transparent communication with leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders
Monitor service performance, address escalations, and drive continuous improvements
serve as the primary contact for escalations, issue resolution, and service-related inquiries
Lead Salesforce service transition projects, ensuring smooth onboarding and operational handover
manage timelines, risks, and deliverables for Salesforce operational initiatives
Support change management efforts, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives
maintain documentation and reporting frameworks for visibility on service performance
Ensure efficient license utilization, tracking usage, and aligning with procurement guidelines
conduct periodic audits and reporting on license allocation
Work closely with procurement teams to facilitate renewals and contract negotiations
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Salesforce operations, deployments, and governance best practices
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience liaising across business and IT teams
Ability to analyze service performance metrics and drive strategic improvements
5+ years of experience in project management
3+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce, including platform administration, governance, or consultancy
Preferred certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or PMP)
