Job Responsibility:
Achieve sales quotas by engaging current and prospective clients within a designated territory
Meet activity-based targets, including customer visits, new customer acquisition, and successful product introductions
Prospect for new sales leads, cultivating relationships and scheduling customer visits that culminate in sales
Travel to client facilities to showcase company's products and provide effective solutions
Capture competitor data and maintain up-to-date project information within the CRM system
Actively participate in trade shows and marketing events to generate high-quality leads
Collaborate with other company's sales teams, identifying complex vision applications beyond the scope of the initial product line
Requirements:
Proven track record of sales performance in automation or similar industry
Uses defined sales process to deliver desired results on a consistent basis
Action and result-oriented mindset
Ability to solve technical problems and learn new automation technology
Ability to work independently in field sales environment with limited overnight travel (up to 20%)
Willingness to relocate and pursue career ambition outside of familiar surroundings
Good listening communication skills

PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windows applications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets is required
Experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization is required
