Sales Manager

• Responsible for guestroom, meeting and ancillary revenues
• Managing corporate groups of 41 or more in the Western half of the US and Canada
• Strategic management of assigned territory
• Conducting site inspections
• Soliciting and generating new business
• Management of repeat business
• Regular interaction with operations staff to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
• Timely follow up with customers, prospects, lead referrals as well as internal team members

• Minimum of 3 years of resort sales experience in an upper upscale resort brand
• Previous experience as a Group Sales Manager in a similar size resort of similar quality
• Proven record of excellence through meeting or exceeding annual goals
• History of going above and beyond with customer service
• Ability to self-motivate
• Strong team player

• Ability to utilize PC applications, including property management systems, database and Microsoft Office products

Knowledge of Marriott CI-TY systems and the Western territory
