Commercially focused Sales Manager to drive expansion of flow metering technology and non-revenue water solutions in the UK market. This is a business generation and customer-facing role with autonomy to set sales objectives and strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee leadership elements including coaching, motivation, performance management, recruitment and training for UK Sales and Service team
Develop and mentor team of 3 sales professionals
Report to Managing Director and wider organization regarding sales performance
Manage client projects from solution design to execution
Conduct market analysis to monitor competition and identify revenue opportunities
Lead preparation of public tenders and proposals
Set sales objectives and strategies
Motivate sales team
Requirements:
Proven track record of commercial success in sales/people leadership role in water industry or closely aligned field
Experience in utilities, flow surveys, metering, wastewater, heat metering, sewerage
Experience managing a sales budget of £5-£15million
Experience with service offering alongside sale of capital equipment products
Gravitas and presence to drive sales strategy and be the face of the business
Nice to have:
Industry respected figure comfortable representing brand at conferences and exhibitions
Experience in client management and networking with senior industry professionals
