Job Description:

Sales Manager position at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa involves resolving guest requests, using sales techniques to maximize revenue, and promoting brand awareness while providing support across Sales and Marketing functions.

Job Responsibility:

Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems
use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
determine and give complimentaries to guests as gifts
promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points
process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations
answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing
train and motivate employees
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
no supervisory experience
none for license or certification
