Job Description:

Handles customer inquiries and acts as the on-property liaison for group sales within pre-defined peak room parameters. Contracts and closes group business, conducts site inspections, and achieves group revenue goals by actively up-selling opportunities. Implements brand service strategy and drives customer loyalty throughout each customer experience.

Job Responsibility:

Handle customer inquiries as on-property liaison for group sales
Contract and close group business
Conduct site inspections
Achieve group revenue goals by up-selling business opportunities
Implement brand service strategy and initiatives
Develop group sales revenue and operation budgets
Create and implement group sales/marketing plans
Monitor same day selling procedures to maximize revenue
Execute operational aspects of business booked
Develop relationships with customers and community
Provide customer service excellence

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
2 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
Large group sales experience (preferred)
Understanding of market conditions and competitors
Negotiating skills and creative selling abilities
Ability to develop group sales revenue and operation budgets
