Job Responsibility:

  • Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and client referrals
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meet with clients face-to-face to present tailored freight and logistics solutions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements in line with client needs
  • Liaise with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the logistics market, including competitors, trends, and pricing structures
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including call notes, opportunities, and pipeline reports
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required
  • Report regularly to the Sales Manager/Director with updates on activity and performance

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience 2 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry
  • Strong knowledge of road, air, and/or sea freight operations and pricing structures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Results-driven with a strong ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Ability to identify client pain points and offer tailored logistics solutions
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Competency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential)
