We are seeking a strategic and high-impact Sales Director to lead our commercial growth in the UK market. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing high-value enterprise contracts (annual targets of £1.5M+) and expanding our footprint within scale-up and enterprise accounts. You will act as a strategic partner to our clients, leveraging your deep expertise in consultancy services and software engineering trends to deliver bespoke solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Revenue Growth
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities
Collaborate with the engineering and presales team on proposals and presentations
Develop and implement client engagement strategies and account plans
Oversee the entire sales process, including lead qualification, pre-sales activities, quoting, contract completion, and closing
Manage and Build Client Relationships
Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Understand client needs and tailor the company's solutions accordingly
Regularly communicate with clients to identify potential issues and offer solutions
Provide updates on company offerings, product roadmaps, and industry trends
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the company's solutions to existing clients
Focus on growing existing accounts and maximising their potential
Liaise and Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the company's development team to ensure client requirements are understood and implemented
Manage client expectations with the delivery team, ensuring on-time and within budget deliverables
Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery
Advocate for client needs within the company and ensure that offerings meet client requirements
Create and negotiate complex quotes, RFIs/RFPs, and contracts, managing sales negotiations at the decision-making level
Requirements:
10+ years of proven experience in technical sales or consultancy services within the software sector
A track record of hitting £1M+ annual quotas within the Enterprise space
Deep experience navigating complex consultancy service agreements
Experience collaborating with global, distributed, or offshore engineering teams
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence technical and non-technical executives
BA in Business or BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Goal-oriented professional with a focus on long-term growth
