As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for driving high-velocity lead generation and pipeline growth for complex B2B technology services. This role requires strong ownership in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing both outbound and inbound leads while working closely with sales leadership to accelerate revenue growth.
Job Responsibility:
Build a qualified outbound opportunity pipeline through cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone)
Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers aligned with Developer Bazaar’s services
Segment and prioritize leads based on ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
Generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for Account Executives
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity Pro, etc.) to create personalized messaging, outreach sequences, and value propositions
Execute scalable outbound campaigns with continuous testing and optimization
Maintain consistent follow-ups and high outreach cadence to maximize response and conversion rates
Qualify inbound leads from website inquiries, webinars, events, and partner channels
Act as the first point of contact for discovery and meeting scheduling with the sales team
Accurately track all lead activity, status, and outcomes in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Maintain clean and up-to-date CRM data and pipeline hygiene
Build and maintain performance, funnel, and lead-quality reports using CRM and Google Sheets
Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to refine messaging, ICP, and targeting strategies
Share insights on campaign performance, objections, lead quality, and outreach effectiveness
Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve productivity
Stay updated with the latest SDR tools, trends, and high-performance outbound sales practices
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in B2B lead generation, SDR, or inside sales roles
Prior experience targeting technology, SaaS, digital transformation, or software buyers is preferred
Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity Pro, or similar) for lead research and outreach
Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for tracking, segmentation, and analytics
Experience with cold email tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound automation platforms
Excellent written communication and executive-level outreach skills
Strong research-driven approach to prospecting
Persistent yet professional follow-up mindset
Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
Metrics-driven with strong ownership and accountability
Fast learner with an iterative, improvement-focused approach
Nice to have:
Understanding of software development buying cycles and technical stakeholder personas
Experience using outbound cadence tools such as Apollo, Outreach.io, or Lemlist
