Sales Associate

• identify the customers’ needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes
• ensure the shop is in excellent shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked
• keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
• assist customers to plan their kitchen, wardrobe, living room storage, etc.
• know and understand the customers’ life at home needs, home furnishing trends
• maximise furniture and accessories sales by offering complete and coordinated solutions
• provide sales quotations and complete sales orders for customers
• convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits
• understand how to use the different IKEA sales and communication channels

• passion in home furnishing, people’s life at home, and the IKEA product range
• critical thinking, good communication and organizational skills
• experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• experience in home furnishing is a plus
• passion for selling, reaching your goals
• understanding of the local market and competition
• understanding of store operations, range presentation, and in-store logistics the IKEA way
• capability of quickly developing in-depth knowledge of the local market and business conditions
