Job Description:

You will maintain the store's cleanliness, product availability, and vitality, supporting sales goals and contributing to the IKEA culture.

Job Responsibility:

Proactively engage customers in need of assistance, accurately identify their requirements through insightful questioning, and recommend optimal home solutions
Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, Introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels
Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
Expand knowledge of IKEA product features and benefits, and share this expertise with customers
Understand the store and department action plans and actively contribute to achieving department goals
Implement, maintain and change out Add-Ons throughout the store to achieve sales volume, conversion, and Gross Margin goals
Analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to ensure high stock availability
Support the implementation and upkeep of planned commercial activities in the range
Develop specialized knowledge to sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality embracing the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
1 year's relevant work experience
Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
