Job Description:

A Sales Co-worker at IKEA helps customers, boosts sales, shares product knowledge, keeps the sales area attractive, and works well with the team.

Job Responsibility:

Provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home
You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
Support other departments at peak times across the store to ensure a great customer experience
Your priority is the customer experience, focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's delivery
Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock. Using pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. (self serve warehouse role only)

Requirements:

You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own
Have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do
Take initiative, make well-informed choices, and actively engage with your daily tasks
Prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail
