Job Description:

IKEA Warrington are looking to welcome a Sales Assistant to join our hardworking Warehouse Sales team. As a Sales Assistant, you will create a positive shopping experience by focusing on enhancing sales, ensuring stock availability, and keeping the warehouse organised. This role requires teamwork, approachability, and a dedication to customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's delivery
manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock
using pump trucks and trolleys to transport heavy goods within the warehouse
ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both customers and co-workers
approaching customers to support their needs and improve their shopping experience

Requirements:

Previous experience is not essential
the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment
computer literacy and ability to work with technology
approachable to support the customers
ability to prioritise and organise workload swiftly and with attention to detail
