Job Description:

To support the customers of the new IKEA Order Point and develop sales in an efficient and effective way by establishing and retaining a long-term relationship with existing customers and attracting new customers using knowledge of the IKEA range, local market and customers.

Job Responsibility:

Drive sales by active selling and sales steering
Ensure work area is effective for customers and cost-efficient for IKEA
Provide customers with consultancy of IKEA home furnishing solutions through planning
Optimise the IKEA shopping experience to secure satisfied customers and increase sales
Find new customers or new opportunities to generate sales
Maintain contact with all customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Receive and resolve customer complaints and problems efficiently and with empathy
Handle payments in an efficient, accurate and friendly way
Control vendors on customer delivery plan to meet the schedule and achieve customer satisfactory

Requirements:

Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, interior design and retail
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, customer-focused and service industry
Ability to take personal initiatives and priorities and organise your own work efficiency
Confident in approaching and talking to people in a proactive manner
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work on weekends and/or public holidays when required
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
