To be a part of the internal sales team, handling customer enquiries, taking verbal orders and quote requests, being the point of contact for customers and internal staff for all delivery/courier related queries, arranging the despatch of replacement parts, assisting customers with pricing and product selection, operating the company's business system (SAP), developing product knowledge, supporting special projects, and promoting the company's image and good reputation.
Job Responsibility:

To answer the telephone in a professional & friendly manner, handling customer enquiries, taking verbal orders and quote requests
To be the point of contact for customers and internal staff for all delivery/courier related queries
To be responsible for arranging the despatch of replacement parts in a timely manner for items that are lost in transit and liaising with the stock controller
Assist existing and new customers with pricing and product selection over the phone and via e-mail
Operate the companies business system (SAP) compiling quotations, preparing orders when required, support the external sales team and maintaining customer records
Develop product knowledge through internal training
Support the company when it undertakes special projects
Generally develop the role and take more responsibility within the organisation
Comply at all times with company policies and procedures
Support the company in its maintenance of quality standards
Promote and protect the company's image and good reputation at all times
Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities, after consultation, which may be determined from time to time
