Job Description:

The Safety Lane Inspector must have patience, an understanding of mechanics, and an eye for detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform general inspections on commercial trucks and tractors, including tire pressure checks, safety feature checks, and small maintenance issues
  • Look for any additional repairs that need to be performed and inspect trucks for any physical damage
  • Complete any needed minor repairs
  • Maintain clean & orderly bay area’s/pits
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to six months related experience (preferred) and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Preferred)
