Job Description:

We are looking for a Safety Engineer for Advanced Vehicle systems to support the design, analysis, and validation of safety-critical automotive features. The role focuses on ensuring functional safety and system robustness for advanced vehicle subsystems (ADAS, E/E architecture, actuators, sensors).

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct functional safety analyses (FMEA, STPA, SOTIF) for advanced vehicle systems
  • Support system design verification and validation activities to ensure safety compliance
  • Collaborate with software, electrical and vehicle subsystem teams to integrate safety requirements
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation: requirements, hazard analyses, verification evidence
  • Identify and mitigate potential failure modes in advanced vehicle components

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with functional safety in automotive systems (ISO 26262, ISO 21448)
  • Familiarity with ADAS or advanced vehicle subsystems
  • Practical knowledge of FMEA, STPA, or SOTIF methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
