Job Description:

Room Service Server position at The Tampa EDITION, serving food and beverages to guests, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to event type and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and special requests
Record transactions in MICROS system
Check guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
Complete closing duties including restocking
Present check and process payment
Follow safety and security policies
Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Develop positive working relationships

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
