The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, completing housekeeping requests and is responsible for the overall comfort level of the guest.
Job Responsibility:
Well-presented and professionally groomed always on required shift
Anticipate guest needs and satisfaction
offer suggestions and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
Establish and follow up on core standard, sequence of service and service procedure
Ability to read and understand the work report/room assignment sheet
Ability to pick up and ensure the bag pack is adequately and properly stocked
Ensure all daily assigned guest rooms (including bathrooms and outside) are clean, dust free and well sanitized
Cleaning process, amenities supplies and linens are strictly followed by procedures
Ensure lost and found process are in place
Cleans guest rooms as assigned and in accordance with hotel standards
stocks and maintains the linen & supplies closet
Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills
Keeps abreast of events in the hotel
Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area
Promotes hotel services and products
Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests
acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction
Offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented
Should know the guest laundry timing in the resort and how to arrange for a pickup win co-ordination with Desk coordinator
Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reports defects and accidents to management immediately
Is competent in MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures and trained in accident response
Attends to guest and internal customers calls and coordinates with concerned departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
Assists in general administration in department
Respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation
Perform other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management as per operation needs
Handle guest requests promptly and always show proactive approach
Assist Housekeeping team to prepare decorative flower arrangements for guests or for Public spaces
Identify opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of workplace in line with safety standards
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
Requirements:
Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is ideal
