Job Description:

GGRS is a national solar PV business which provides a variety of specialist PV solar services to domestic and commercial customers. You will be working alongside the installation teams with roof preparation and operational support, ensuring roof brackets are installed correctly to maximize the PV panel installations

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring correct roof brackets and railing are installed on properties in preparation for PV solar installation
  • Run DC cabling to relevant location to support the AC installations
  • Collect relevant job sheets through contracts team ensuring correct resources/materials are allocated to appropriate properties for installation services
  • Support colleagues in a way that optimizes operation service procedures
  • Provide relevant paperwork and photographical evidence of pre, during and post installation works to contracts admin team to support accurate records
  • Contribute to contract planning and ensure data is accurate and up to date in supporting service planning and delivery
  • Support operations teams with roof surveys and reports to ensure optimum PV solar installations are outlined
  • Encourage and support staff whilst ensuring the successful delivery of all relevant aspects of the business
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of GGRS work and the needs and circumstances of customers
  • Comply with GGRS policies and procedures, including Health and Safety policies, for which all employees owe a duty of care both to themselves and others, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in the light of the main purpose of the job and business

Requirements:

  • Experience of roofing installation and maintenance works
  • Able to keep clear, timely, accurate data records and able to share information effectively
  • Ability to use and learn solar design software and customer database CRM
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to build positive customer relations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team, together with a willingness to reflect upon and develop your own practice
  • Good knowledge of digital data technologies and able to oversee and propose relevant IT technologies and software to support business meet customer needs
  • Excellent Digital and Data skills and able to work with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Dropbox, Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar and office equipment
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with health and safety and safeguarding procedures
