The Branch RM Head takes on full leadership and supervisory responsibility, providing operational and service leadership to teams and applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to deliver value-added advisory services. The role involves building deep client relationships, working with internal teams to create tailored solutions, mitigating risk, and contributing to innovation. The role also emphasizes strong leadership to motivate and develop teams, as well as upholding the highest ethical standards in carrying out responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Deepens relationships with clients by proactively owning, responding to, and anticipating any future needs, roadblocks, or risks
works closely with senior RMs, product specialists, and subject matter experts to structure customized solutions
identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet
drives innovation in solutions provided to clients
identifies and pursues new clients aligned with Citi’s value proposition
stays connected with influencers, industry associations, thought leaders, and senior business contacts
ensures deals are structured to balance risk and reward
protects Citi’s assets and reputation as first line of defense from credit risk management perspective
ensures all activities are carried out to the highest ethical standard
assesses risk and demonstrates adherence to compliance with laws and regulations
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience
sound knowledge of the underwriting process for products requiring approval of credit exposure (Derivatives, Treasury, FX, Lending, etc.) and high-quality spreads and analysis
sound basic knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking, developing commercial credit knowledge, and ability to quickly learn new products and services
demonstrates working knowledge of Citi Risk and KYC policies and practices
demonstrates working knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning Detection
demonstrates understanding of accounting principles, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis
ability to work effectively in a team setting
communicates views with clarity and confidence
maintains contact with key stakeholders to proactively seek input as appropriate
