Job Description:

We are seeking a Revenue Supervisor to join our team in the retail industry, located in HONOLULU, Hawaii. This role involves supervising accounts payable transactions, reconciling vendor statements, and leveraging accounting software to track financial data. You will also be responsible for assisting with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting, as well as communicating with various stakeholders to identify and solve problems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the processing of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies
  • Utilize various accounting software systems to input, track, and manage financial data
  • Assist in the execution of month-end closing procedures and the generation of financial reports
  • Foster professional and prompt communication with internal and external customers
  • Act as an escalation point to address and resolve issues faced by Accounts Payable clerks
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline and improve accounting processes
  • Meet department deadlines in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
  • Conduct research and provide support documents for auditing and payment discrepancies
  • Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of accounting documents, records, and data

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable
  • Experience with IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is beneficial
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required
  • Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is advantageous
  • Ability to handle Check Processing tasks is expected
  • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is required
  • Ability to identify and rectify Discrepancies is a must
  • Previous experience in a retail environment is beneficial
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required
  • Ability to work in a team and lead multiple projects is needed
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven track record in improving revenue growth and profitability is preferred
  • Experience in managing and leading a team is necessary
