Job Responsibility:
Coaching and supporting co-workers to maximise sales and deliver a positive customer experience
Support daily operational problems and reacting appropriately to urgent issues, escalating to direct manager where necessary
Contributing to the store’s Commercial Team by optimising the IKEA Family loyalty program to grow our core customer base, increase sales across the IKEA range, and support long-term growth and profitability
Deliver IKEA Family training and workshops, and provide one-on-one support to build co-worker competence, support development, and drive overall sales growth
Ensure retail foundation is in place for IKEA Family, including store thread, visibility of benefits, pricing, stock locations and accurate forecasting
by working closely with the store Commercial Team
Managing and adjusting sales space capacities to secure high stock availability using system-based (SLM) parameters
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a retail supervisor or in a customer service leadership role
Good understanding of customer clubs and loyalty programmes is highly valued
Able to deliver exceptional customer service and foster an inclusive and positive co-worker experience
Comfortable with coordinating your team, setting priorities, and delegating responsibilities
Passionate about everyday life at home and home furnishing, with a love for working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment
Able to optimise sales thorough knowledge of the IKEA product range, local market, and customers
Have strong attention to detail and be able to develop meaningful relationships through your outstanding interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant operating systems
