Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, assisting with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, leading the food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional customer service, conducting human resource activities, and handling financial aspects of the department.

Job Responsibility:

Supervises and manages employees
Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
Identifies the developmental needs of others and provides training or coaching to improve knowledge or skills
Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies and procedures
Handles guest problems and complaints
Improves service by communicating and assisting others in understanding guest needs
Ensures employees receive ongoing training to understand guest expectations
Oversees the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
