Chester Race Company is excited to welcome a dynamic and people-driven individual to join our Resourcing team as a Resourcing Administrator. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll play a vital part in bringing our events to life by supporting the coordination of our event day teams. From assisting with our workforce management system to ensuring clear and concise communication, you’ll help create a positive, well-organised environment where people feel supported and informed. Supporting the Senior Resourcing Coordinator, you’ll gain hands-on experience in event staffing and logistics, build strong relationships, and confidently handle queries — all while contributing to the smooth and successful delivery of our race days and events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the team to ensure the smooth operation of all elements of Resourcing
  • Administration tasks to assist the implementation of Ubeya, the new workforce management tool
  • Respond to and action incoming workforce queries
  • Coordination of workforce logistics tasks, including uniform and transport
  • Support the Resourcing Team on site at race days and other events when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly excel to manage high volume data
  • Excellent communicator who’s able to adapt writing to appropriate audiences

Nice to have:

  • Experience in workforce coordination, planning or resourcing within hospitality, events or sports industries
  • Experience working with diverse teams
  • CIPD qualification is a benefit

  • Manage the HR General calendar and mailbox—the primary liaison and delegator for all incoming HR items to the appropriate HR representative
  • Oversee, track, and report the Accountable plan submissions and record keeping
  • Create and organize new hire physical files, assisting with managing personnel files physically and virtually
  • Review and validate HR department credit card reconciliation and expenses, benefits deductions, including billing review for health benefits billing statements by the 26th of each month
  • Ensure labor posters are accurate and up to date, sending jurisdictional updates to applicable employees
  • Prepare and organize new team members' onboarding paperwork and schedules, including integration reviews (30, 60, 90-day), new hire policies, and I-9 verification for e-signature within the first 3 days of employment
