Onsite, fixed-term role based in Chamonix, France. Are you ready to embark on a journey in the world of hospitality, travel, tourism and bring the mountains to life for our Crystal Ski guests? If you can communicate with colleagues and suppliers in a professional manner whilst providing essential accounts and admin support to enable our resort teams to focus on delivering amazing customer service this could be the winter job you are looking for.
Job Responsibility:
Sales Database set up and maintenance throughout the season
Support the Senior Resort Accounts Controller with the delivery of training and implementation of finance related business processes to other departments
Manage accounting data and card payments from a group of resorts, working closely with the resort teams and assisting with any card payment issues
Liaise with resort staff to confirm weekly customer bookings, work through variances
Assist the accounts processing team with reconciling invoices for payment
Maintain excellent supplier relationships and respond to their queries quickly and efficiently
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of Ski Essentials to guests through handling phone inquiries, emails, and correspondence, ensuring prompt and accurate responses
Requirements:
Passion for the mountains with experience or an interest in skiing, snowboarding and winter outdoor life
Genuinely enjoy spreading positivity, great team player, true people person with the ability to quickly build trust with both colleagues and suppliers
Digital know-how, willing to learn the demands of the job, the technology needed to do it and all about our incredible Crystal Ski products & services
Manage time effectively whilst attention to detail is high and always produce work to an excellent standard
Self-motivated and able to work on your own and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and can adjust quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication skills and comfortable explaining detailed processes to others
Detail orientated and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
Highly numeric and prior related experience in the industry and/or finance and accounting is preferred but not required
Fluent in verbal and written English
with additional European languages an advantage
