Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

• Managing a personal caseload of 80 – 100 residential conveyancing files, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, and transfers of equity
• Supervising and supporting a team of two trainees and three administrative staff, ensuring file progress and compliance across the department
• Acting as the main point of contact for escalations, technical guidance, and complex matters
• Delivering clear, practical legal advice to clients and ensuring transactions are managed efficiently from instruction to post-completion
• Monitoring SLAs and department KPIs, ensuring high standards of service and case progression
• Supporting business development initiatives and helping to grow the department’s profile and caseload
• Working collaboratively with firm leadership to contribute to the ongoing strategic growth of the firm’s property offering

• A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload confidently and independently
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A commercial, client-first mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and referrers
• A collaborative and hands-on approach to team management and client service
