Job Description:

Resident Engineer role focused on managing onsite delivery, post-sales or service delivery support, installation and configuration for customer environments. Solves business systems, supports network operation and optimizes network reliability of Juniper based networking systems in Telco environment. Provides direct post-sales systems on site technical support for reactive and proactive customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field)
  • 6-8 years working experience in related fields
  • In-depth knowledge of company and industry standard networked computing environments, operating systems, and applications
  • In-depth knowledge of implementation and technical support of networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services environments
  • Detailed technical experience in installation and operation of IP Routers Switches and Firewalls
  • Hands-on operation of management tools and network analyzers
  • TCP/IP fundamentals
  • IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles
  • Routing protocol operation (OSPF and BGP)
  • Routing policies at BGP peering points
  • VPNs and associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
  • Switching, spanning tree and other switching technology
  • Firewalls and associated technologies
  • JunOs
  • Juniper Certifications Professional level or higher is a plus
