We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Team Leader to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our reservation department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximising revenue through efficient booking processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the reservation department
Train, mentor, and lead a team of reservation agents to maintain high service standards
Implement and monitor reservation policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Analyse booking trends and occupancy rates to optimise revenue and pricing strategies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Handle complex reservation enquiries and resolve guest issues promptly
Generate and analyse reports on reservation performance and key metrics
Stay updated on local and international hospitality trends to maintain a competitive edge
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese hospitality regulations and standards
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall hotel operations
Develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven experience in hotel reservations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
In-depth understanding of hotel operations and reservation management systems
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Proficient in data analysis and report generation
Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Customer-centric approach with a commitment to guest satisfaction
Fluency in English required
Vietnamese language skills highly desirable
Knowledge of local hospitality market trends in Phu Quoc and Vietnam
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency in hospitality-specific software and booking systems
Understanding of revenue management principles
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
Familiarity with the local tourism industry in Phu Quoc would be advantageous
Nice to have:
