The Tasman Hobart is currently seeking an engaging, experienced and committed Reservation Agent (Casual) to join our dynamic team. We are looking for exceptional hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering seamless and memorable guest experiences, while confidently managing administrative and communication duties.
Job Responsibility:
Answer and process all reservation enquiries in accordance with established hotel communication guidelines
Maintain full knowledge of all current room rates and packages available at the hotel
Communicate guest special requests to the appropriate departments and follow up to ensure requests are fulfilled
Ensure the confidentiality of all hotel guests is maintained
Liaise daily with Management regarding occupancies to help maximise average room rate
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Reservation Agent
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail, thorough follow-up and problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to emotionally connect with guests and deliver superior service
Conflict resolution experience, with the ability to remain calm, polite and patient under pressure
Flexibility to work a 24-hour rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Working rights in Australia
Nice to have:
Experience with the OPERA Property Management System
