Research Lab Technician IV

• Confer with principal investigator and collaborators in the planning, developing, and implementation of research projects
• develop control procedures for test standardization and clinical product manufacturing processes
• Develop experimental techniques for specimen and tissue analyses utilized in complex laboratory procedures
• Review scientific journals, abstracts, and other research literature to obtain or verify additional information used in the design and development of original procedures or techniques related to the research/clinical projects
• Prepare detailed reports on the results of experiments
• discuss with principal investigator and collaborators the interpretation of the results and collaborate in the preparation of scientific manuscripts and reports for publication
• Supervise and coordinate the operation, training, and staffing of laboratory activities
• maintain facilities and equipment supplies
• develop and establish laboratory work procedures, methods, and policies
• schedule and determine work priorities, and ensure laboratory compliance to procedures and regulations
• Prepare detailed plans for large scale, collaborative studies, including monitoring, treatments, analysis data, recording and reporting
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

• University graduation with a major in the biological sciences and four years of related research experience
• Master's degree in immunology, biology, or related physical science and two years of laboratory experience
