Job Description:

Internship position in the Networking and Distributed Systems Lab at Hewlett Packard Labs for PhD/MS students to contribute to cutting-edge research areas including cloud computing, datacenter networks, AI/ML acceleration, and emerging technologies

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to cutting-edge areas: Cloud/Serverless computing
Cloud/Datacenter networks
High Performance Computing Fabrics
AI and ML workload acceleration
WiFi-Cellular Convergence
Edge-to-Cloud Infrastructure
Sustainability and Carbon Emission Reduction
Emerging disaggregated systems

Requirements:

Must be pursuing Ph.D./MS (or equivalent post-graduate degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant studies
Strong research, analytical, and system-building skills are required
Published articles are a definite plus
Experience with implementation and system building, particularly in the areas of AI operations, cloud, and distributed systems
Proficiency in making impactful presentations to key stakeholders, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
