Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Release Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and coordinating release planning and execution processes within a SAFe Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of application development projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize and oversee release planning, execution, and coordination across diverse teams
  • Offer guidance and support for projects of medium to low complexity within a SAFe Agile framework
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from technical and business domains to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Identify potential risks, manage interdependencies, and address issues proactively
  • Establish governance structures and provide visibility throughout the release cycle
  • Deliver project management support, including reporting, updates, and coordination as needed

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with SAFe Agile practices
  • Strong expertise in release management paired with project management knowledge
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including those in high-visibility roles
  • Background in supporting application development environments
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with payer systems is desirable
  • Local candidates are preferred, though remote candidates will be considered
