Job Description:

This new and exciting Relationship Manager role is based in the North-West / North-East (‘North’) and has come about following Citi’s ongoing commitment and investment to support the international growth plans of UK Mid-Market businesses headquartered in the North. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Citi’s expansion across the ‘North’, with a strong focus on new client acquisition and supporting the banking and financing needs of clients across the regions.

Job Responsibility:

Managing key client stakeholder relationships
Understanding clients’ banking & financing needs
Collaboration across Citi’s Commercial Banking franchise
Establishing a robust understanding of Citi’s commercial banking proposition
Developing and maintaining strong ties with Commercial Banking teams
Self-originating new business across the Mid-Market segment
Representing Citi Commercial Bank across multiple industries
Working closely with the ‘North’ Director and the wider UK CCB team
Developing and building strong relationships & engagement with key business introducers
Demonstrating strong and visible leadership skills
Coaching and developing other members of the wider UK Commercial Banking team

Requirements:

Strong commercial/corporate banking experience
Solid credit skills
Strong relationship management skills
Established external network in the North region
Proven record in originating & executing new business
UK commercial/corporate banking experience
Understanding of the banking/financing needs of UK Mid-Market businesses across multiple industries
