Job Description:

HammondCare Daw Park is currently looking for a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join their team. The role involves person-centred care, advising and supporting care staff, providing mentorship, and clinical oversight. Applicants should be flexible, team-oriented, have experience working with people with dementia, and hold AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years’ aged care experience.

Job Responsibility:

Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
Consultative in case management and clinical decision making
Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
Implement and support a resident comfort focus

Requirements:

Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their lives
Strong Admin and computer skills
Have current AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years’ experience in an Aged Care setting
