Job Description:

HammondCare Miranda is looking for an experienced casual Registered Nurse to join their team. The role involves providing person-centred and relationship-focused care for residents, with a focus on clinical support, education, and mentoring. The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration, 2-3 years experience in Aged Care, and a passion for serving elderly people.

Job Responsibility:

Clinical support role
Consultative and advisory context
Professional accountability and responsibility
Core member of the residential team
Advising and supporting care delivery
Educating and mentoring in clinical areas
Consultative in case management and clinical decision making
Clinical oversight and professional competence
Implement and support a resident comfort focus

Requirements:

Current AHPRA registration
2-3 years experience in an Aged Care setting
Flexible to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
Genuine passion for serving elderly people
Strong admin and computer skills
