Compass Associates is proud to partner with a leading provider in their search for an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead a 10-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that prioritises person-centred care, staff development, and service quality. The successful candidate will oversee the operation of the service, ensuring continuity, compliance, and excellent outcomes for all residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations, manage and support the staff team, and foster a positive, collaborative working environment
  • Ensure residents receive tailored, person-centred care, promoting independence, dignity, and choice. Continuously drive improvements in service quality and outcomes
  • Manage all aspects of CQC registration and compliance, maintain standards, conduct audits, and implement improvements where required
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and training to ensure a skilled, motivated, and supported workforce
  • Manage budgets, resources, and service operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of care

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent) preferred, with commitment to professional development
  • Extensive knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, risk management, and compliance
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, non-verbal communication, and complex mental health and learning disability needs

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing small to medium-sized residential services (8–12 beds)
  • Experience with service registration and regulatory processes in adult social care
