This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the operational, commercial and quality performance of a domiciliary care branch. The successful candidate will be trusted with autonomy to lead, grow and develop the service while maintaining outstanding care standards.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strong leadership to care and office teams, creating a positive and high-performing culture
Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring safe, responsive and person-centred care
Recruit, onboard and retain high-quality care staff
Oversee inductions, supervision, appraisals and performance management
Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure continuity of care
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding and health & safety standards
Ensure care plans, assessments and reviews are completed to a high standard
Lead quality assurance activity and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct exit interviews and report trends to senior leadership
Ensure mandatory training compliance across the service
Requirements:
Significant experience managing teams within domiciliary care
Strong people management and leadership capability
Experience overseeing compliance, quality and operational delivery
Ability to work flexibly, including every other weekend and on backup support
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Highly organised, resilient and commercially aware
