Job Description:

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the operational, commercial and quality performance of a domiciliary care branch. The successful candidate will be trusted with autonomy to lead, grow and develop the service while maintaining outstanding care standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strong leadership to care and office teams, creating a positive and high-performing culture
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring safe, responsive and person-centred care
  • Recruit, onboard and retain high-quality care staff
  • Oversee inductions, supervision, appraisals and performance management
  • Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding and health & safety standards
  • Ensure care plans, assessments and reviews are completed to a high standard
  • Lead quality assurance activity and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct exit interviews and report trends to senior leadership
  • Ensure mandatory training compliance across the service

Requirements:

  • Significant experience managing teams within domiciliary care
  • Strong people management and leadership capability
  • Experience overseeing compliance, quality and operational delivery
  • Ability to work flexibly, including every other weekend and on backup support
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Highly organised, resilient and commercially aware
