The Regional Workforce Manager primary responsibility will be to support an effective labor management culture at Encore to advance the organization’s strategic objectives. Partnering with the Director of Field Operations and RVP, Venues and peers to execute a defined hiring, training and scheduling approach that supports Encore’s grown plan and desired financial results for assigned region. The role will own the strategic deployment approach within assigned region, with a focus on quality, consistency and best practice implementation and team member deployment across Encore’s venue, Production Centre and event staffing. This position will provide leadership to their assigned area and the organization to align field team member resources to an evolving business environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure Demand planning processes are adapted and adhered to
  • Evaluate the needs of the region and identifying high volume periods as well as working on solutions to satisfy the demand
  • Work directly with Regional Operations and Sales teams to understand and ensure that labor planning is taking place for all appropriate events
  • SHOU performance expectations
  • LEAP staffing guideline adherence (in partnership with HR)
  • Implementation of regional hiring, onboarding and training practices consistent with recruiting, HR and Global learning guidance and LEAP scheduling process deployment
  • Approval Manager for locations that need to request outside labor resources and use of overtime
  • Create regional reports and make recommendations regarding actions that should be taken including staffing level changes, training, and other actions to improve labor performance
  • Be a subject matter expert for all workforce related reporting, including Ecliptic based reporting
  • Direct the region to use all scheduling systems, tools and process effectively
  • Be a subject matter expert for Navigator Workforce
  • Understand and implement the LEAP scheduling process
  • Recommend system enhancements, provide system training and identify areas for improved system usage for regions within assigned area, in close partnership with Sr. Director, Labor and Operations Excellence and peer director
  • Develop and implement approach to standardize and improve reporting, KPIs and other deliverable information to the field to improve on all aspects of labor management and performance measurement so that better recommendations and decisions can be made
  • Partner with HR business partners to manage human resources activity including selection, performance management, salary administration, training and development and strategic human resources planning
  • Ensure that all new technician hires obtain their level 3 certification in the appropriate timeframe

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Labor Management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to successfully interact and support all levels of management within the organization
