Job Responsibility:

  • Execute planned and reactive building maintenance tasks
  • Handle general building, joinery, tiling, painting, fencing, paving, external works, drainage, and plumbing
  • Perform planned preventative building maintenance according to schedules
  • Manage and carry out maintenance and refurbishment projects for nursery setting properties
  • Prioritize workload to complete repairs within KPI/SLA timescales
  • Record work and related expenditure using relevant IT systems
  • Maintain vehicle records and keep vehicles in a clean, tidy, and secure condition
  • Adhere to company policies in particular Health and Safety Policy, conduct risk assessments, and communicate effectively with nursery managers/facilities helpdesk
  • Supporting with additional projects

Requirements:

  • Full, Clean UK Driving License
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT competence
