Job Description:

As our Regional Equipment Supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the equipment and supplies located in your region while maintaining optimum inventory and achieving financial goals. Every day we will rely on you to generate growth and profitability by applying your market and construction knowledge, recognizing equipment rental opportunities, and utilizing a solutions-orientated approach to develop new business. To thrive in this role, you will need to be a creative problem-solver with a passion for growing our business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Market services internally and externally
  • Execute strategies to meet sales and profitability objectives for equipment and supplies for the region
  • Coordinate equipment usage among jobs in the most efficient and profitable manner
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with equipment and supplies vendors
  • Review assigned equipment for efficiency, repair cost and recommends replacement or disposal
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews, quarterly forecast updates, and developing WES annual business plan
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of regional staff
  • Provide advice and direction to department personnel toward their professional development
  • Communicate and reinforces the company vision, values, and goals to department staff
  • Participates in investigating accidents resulting in equipment damage in the region

Requirements:

  • Four-year management degree or the equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Experience in construction and/or the equipment rental industry

Nice to have:

  • An equipment management certification is considered a plus
  • Experience with rental management software is considered a plus
