Job Description:

Based within the Ellesmere Port integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, your role will support adults who use our service within the area to achieve their recovery journey goals via 1:1s and structured groupwork programme.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to people and their significant others
  • Manage a case load and co-ordinate and deliver assessment and evidence-based interventions
  • Deliver recovery planning and aftercare planning and risk assessments
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Deliver harm reduction advice, psychosocial interventions, needle & syringe exchanges, Blood borne virus testing and interventions, drug testing and overdose prevention advice

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within substance misuse or a related Health and Social Care setting
  • Committed, resourceful and highly motivated
  • Experience in working within substance misuse services
  • Experience of delivering structured treatment groups
  • An empathetic and non-judgmental approach
  • Good time management and IT skills
