This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle front desk responsibilities while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for all visitors and callers. Job Responsibility:
Manage the front desk operations, including greeting visitors and ensuring they are directed appropriately
Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system with efficiency and professionalism
Provide accurate information to callers and visitors, demonstrating knowledge of organizational processes
Maintain a respectful and compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients, staff, and community members
Organize and utilize the provided training resources to ensure smooth front desk operations
Support general office tasks, including maintaining a tidy and organized reception area
Uphold the organization's commitment to dignity and respect in all communications and interactions
Collaborate with team members to address visitor inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Ensure bilingual communication is effectively used to assist a diverse range of clients
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and routing calls efficiently
Bilingual fluency in English and another language is required
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to treat everyone with dignity and respect
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with office procedures and basic administrative tasks
