Job Description:

Receiving Supervisor position at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman responsible for coordinating the receiving of goods, validating compliance with purchase orders, troubleshooting vendor delivery issues, and managing inventory portfolio covering around 4,000 food items and 2,000 beverage items.

Job Responsibility:

Review and understand suppliers, quotations, and approved purchase orders
Coordinate receiving of goods as ordered
Validate compliance adherence on price, quantity, and quality of received goods
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues
Prepare and submit variance reports
Report discrepancies or damage to department leaders
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company safety programs
Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures
Maintain clear and organized records
Calculate figures for inventories, orders, and costs
Conduct inventory audits
Verify and track received inventory
Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
Receive, unload, and process deliveries
Monitor PAR levels for all food items
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year related work experience in procurement, purchasing, or related professional area
Strong computer skills
Ability to solve problems and make decisions without supervision
Ability to work with a diverse team
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task, and have good time management skills
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Must be physically fit and have ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Work with Pallet Jacks and Fork Lift machinery
