Job Description:

The Analyst will hold a critical role within the Structured Credit and Real Estate Underwriting (SCREU) team administering a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of real estate and asset securitization transactions. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, reviewing servicer reports, preparing memos, performing financial analysis, and contributing to regulatory reporting efforts.

Job Responsibility:

work proactively with the underwriting team to ensure timely information flow
monitor ongoing compliance of assigned deals
review servicer reports for accuracy
prepare annual credit approval and quarterly memos
model transactions for risk rating and stress testing
assist with classification and risk rating processes
maintain organized credit files
examine financial statements
review historical and pro forma financial statements
assist in reporting of Basel securitization parameters

Requirements:

6+ years of credit, portfolio management or structuring experience in a financial institution, rating agency, financial guarantor, or asset management firm
real estate or structured credit/securitization experience is a plus
strong Microsoft Office skills
modelling experience is a plus
strong attention to detail
oral and written communication skills
team player with strong work ethic
strong organizational skills
ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines
MBA or CFA or CA

Nice to have:

ability to manage special projects such as stress testing, portfolio concentration analysis, internal audit and reviews
