Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for performing clinical diagnostic radiology films as directed by the provider
  • Provides radiation protection to patients and staff
  • Properly positions patient for procedures
  • Responsible for the proper development and storage of films and or digital images
  • Performs EKG testing and ability to perform the Holter Monitor process

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
