Job Description:

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
  • Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
  • Utilize good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others
  • Perform clerical functions of order entry and film sign out
  • File/retrieve films and hang/remove films from film viewers
  • Operate teleradiology system
  • Operate equipment and performing procedures in the department, in the operating room, and on a mobile basis
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work
  • Assure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and accessories
  • Accurately mark all radiographs with side and position
  • Assure patient information is clearly visible

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and demonstrated excellence in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
