As a Manager – TA/Product Knowledge & Learning (Planning & Measurement Support), you will support the TA/Product Knowledge & Learning (K&L) team based in the U.S., who own product learning strategy and execution. This role is focused on planning enablement, coordination, and measurement to support Global Medical training needs across therapeutic areas and products. You will work closely with the TA/Product K&L team to operationalize U.S.-developed learning plans, providing structure, insights, and measurement to enable effective delivery of global medical learning programs, including congress-related trainings.
Job Responsibility:
Support the TA/Product K&L team by enabling planning and measurement activities aligned to established learning plans and Global Medical priorities
Translate approved learning plans into detailed planning inputs, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and tracking tools
Coordinate inputs and learner insights to support Global Medical training needs, in alignment with therapeutic area and product priorities
Design, deploy, and analyze surveys to assess learner needs, readiness, and post-training effectiveness
Define, track, and assess learning metrics (e.g., participation, satisfaction, knowledge uptake) in alignment with TA/Product K&L objectives
Prepare dashboards, reports, and insights summaries to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
Support planning and measurement for congress-related trainings, including pre- and post-congress assessments (execution led by the TA/Product K&L team)
Maintain integrated learning calendars, trackers, and documentation to support governance and visibility
Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities related to learning plans and measurement, and communicate insights to the TA/Product K&L team
Ensure alignment with Amgen learning standards, governance processes, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
Doctorate degree with 6+ years of clinical/scientific affairs experience
Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine
Experience in learning planning support, measurement, and analytics
Demonstrated ability to design and interpret surveys and learning effectiveness metrics
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience supporting Global Medical or scientific training programs in a matrixed environment
