Quality Technician, Battery

• Perform inspections and tests on battery modules or components to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications
• Collect and analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics
• Identify and document non-conformances, and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions
• Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices
• Ensure all quality control activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or battery industry
• Proficient in the use of inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and specialized battery testing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Manual dexterity to handle small components and delicate inspection tools
• Capacity to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

an associate degree or technical certification in quality control, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred
